Government Contracting
Ampersand is proud to have partnered with the Department of Defense on multiple projects since our inception. We bring to every contract the energy and leading edge services we are known for commercially. Today, we continue this tradition though various projects both as subcontractor and as prime contractor. Project Snapshots: Combat Intelligence System Ampersand implemented a multi-year effort supporting the TBMCS program and its predecessor programs, the Combat Intelligence System and Sentinel Byte (work performed under various contracts). Under these programs, Ampersand performed the role of software architect, principal integrator, and network engineer for the entire program plus development subcontractor for all or a substantial portion of the following segments: CIS Architecture; DD (Data Distribution); CCS (CIS Core Software); IID (Imagery Information Dissemination); JDH (Joint Distribution Host); ISaRC (Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Cell); SCI CIS; and Patch Server. C2STA Ampersand is proud to have been chosen to provide our Chief Engineer as the sole industry representative to the Command and Control (C2) System Target Architecture team. Formed under the direction of HQ AF, the purpose of the team is to provide guidance to the acquisition community to achieve the objectives of enhancing interoperability and facilitating the fielding of flexible, reusable system components and capabilities. AFMSS MIDB ISM A rapid development effort to upgrade the Air Force’s Mission Support System (AFMSS) to address the new data formats of the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Modified Intelligence Data Base (MIDB) 2.0. The effort ensures interoperability with both DIA and the AF’s systems. The software being developed is an independent, installable module on the AFMSS that interfaces with existing AFMSS system services and user databases. PFPS TIFIT The rapid development of a Threat Import Filter/Import Tool (TIFIT) for integration with the AF’s Portable Flight Planning System (PFPS). This effort is providing USSOCOM aviation mission planners the expandable tools for filtering of threats displayed on the PFPS’ Falcon View software.
