My 8 year old, after listening to some music in school today, used her once-a-month right to select a family movie to pick The Magic Flute, a 1975 Ingmar Bergman film of the famed opera. We were all entranced. What a beautiful piece of music, staging, and a wonderful way for our family to spend the end of the week.
