Hello world!

Posted on Thursday 24 February 2005

Welcome to my blog! My intention is to use this space to post links, clips, and observations about things that I find neat. Mostly this will relate to my current research interests in the domains of VoIP, Instant Messaging and Presence, Web architectures, open source, mobile technologies, IP communications, blogs, unified communications and the impact that all of this is having on society.

You will probably not find any unique insights here, leave that to the true net luminaries in whose constellations I do not number. If you’re reading this, it’s probably because we’re acquainted with each other through work, family, or friends. And maybe every now and then I might link something that you find worthwhile.

Lastly, I’ll probably use my blog, as everyone does, as a personal journal and travelogue, as I read books, visit places, attend events, and meet people. And I don’t think I’ll be able to resist writing about the non-technological passions in life: my family, and Italy.

Enjoy!

Peace,
Steve
